Victim of Domestic Violence?

Victim of Domestic Violence?

Domestic violence laws are much harsher in Tennessee. If you are a victim of domestic violence, you should file an Order of Protection. You can normally do this at the police station or the courthouse.

FIVE tips to help you testify at your domestic violence hearing

Please watch the video below. It covers all 5 tips for testifying.

Do you have children in danger?

If so, your Order of Protection can cover your minor children! Do not bring your children with you to court unless your attorney advises that it is necessary.

Parent Education Class

If you are going through the divorce process and you have minor children, then you have to take the parent education seminar. Additionally, make sure you let the instructor know you are victim of domestic violence. Finally, our classes do not allow people with pending domestic violence allegations to attend the same parenting class.

First, in our parent education class, we go review the new domestic violence law.  Also, we discuss the Permanent Parenting Plan. Next, we cover communication, rights of parents, helpful apps and tools, and much more. You can sign up for our 4 hour parenting class in Jackson or Memphis, Tennessee.  Additionally, for parenting class times and dates, click here. Finally, we never cancel and parking is free.
